Another edition of Can I Kick It, featuring Rich Franklin, the co-owner/founder of Relevant Customs and professional sneaker liaison Mikey Noodz. Rich is a New York guy who’s DEEP in the sneaker game. He’s third generation. His father and grandfather both worked in the shoe industry and Rich has taken all those skills and all that knowledge and applied it to kicks and streetwear. He came through and talked about the entire process of customizing sneakers. From the anonymous cobbler who creates custom Jordans with ostrich leather and shark skin and crocodile/gators, to the business side of things and how much customs go for. And now Relevant Customs is going to design the first ever custom J’s for a blog. Rich mocked up a few rough drafts of some Barstool Jordans and they look like this:

ALSO – we talked a lot about Air Tech Challenge IIs, which I think is the most underrated shoe of all time. Rich used the soles of the Air Tech IIs for Victorino’s Yeezys. I have them in the suede blue and the Poison Greens. Right now Nike is doing a BANANAS sale for the Orange/Red colorway and the blues. Fucking $45 bucks for the blues, $60 for the orange. Legit CANNOT beat that deal:
