Sometimes You Just Need To Kick Back And Watch A Bunch Of Videos Of Smoking Meats

It's been a pretty emotionally draining 36-48 hours. Every time you think you might be getting back to a point of normalcy, another tribute or memory of Kobe gets told and you're back to being totally devastated again. Those emotions are part of being human but giving yourself a quick break from all of it is important as well.

And what better way to put yourself in a happy place than with a bunch of barbecue videos? It's soothing, it's mouth-watering, and the process is a delicious journey from start to finish. From the seasoning of the meat, to lighting the pit, to checking on the temps before wrapping, to the final well-rested product. Only thing that could make it better is if these videos came with smell and taste.

Personally, my favorite is Malcom Reed just because I feel like he has the best combination of quality cooks and overall personality/voice. But maybe you're looking to do a little something for the Super Bowl this weekend. Maybe since the Chiefs are playing, you want to get some Kansas City burnt ends going. And if that's the case, Chef Tom from All Things BBQ has you covered.

Oh what's that? Now you want a little brisket on a stick? Well then let's throw some beef ribs on the pit.

And then if you're into the science and the details that go into everything, then it's always nice to watch the maestro go to work. Which is when you throw on some Aaron Franklin.

And if you're interested in showing up to your Super Bowl party this Sunday with the best wings anybody has thrown in their mouth holes, well then here you go.

Anyways, I hope this was a delicious break from real life. Have fun ordering lunch.
