Feast your eyes on what's being called "The Floating Palace" that will house the wives and girlfriends of England's World Cup soccer team for the next month. Now why wouldn't they just stay at a super luxurious hotel in Qatar? Well, because you're basically not allowed to do anything in the country. Newcomers are being told to obey these insane guidelines.

Dressing modestly in public, abstaining from drinking alcohol or packing on the PDA, swearing, playing music, singing, shouting, or acting 'inappropriately' during the call to prayer are all thought to have been included on the agenda. In Qatar, littering is illegal - with a £6,000 fine and a year in jail - and taking selfies outside government buildings could lead to police action, they were reportedly warned. (Daily Mail

Can't drink, swear, or sing? It's like Qatar agreed to host the World Cup and had no idea what happens during a soccer match. Well, the Brits thought ahead and chartered a billion dollar cruise ship to keep the WAGs happy while their men mess around on the pitch for a bit before almost certainly choking it away at some point before reaching the promised land. Hey, happy wife happy life right?

The luxury £1billion cruise liner - which usually costs £2,434.80 for nine nights - has set sail for Doha and was spotted making its way through the Suez Canal on Wednesday, according to The Sun, ahead of setting up base at the Doha Port.

WAGs set to live aboard the vessel during the 2022 FIFA World Cup - which is taking place from 20 November to 18 December.  Guests will be living the high life, thanks to onboard beauty salons, boutiques, dodgems, 14 ocean-view Jacuzzis and the longest dry-slide at sea titled The Venom Drop to keep them entertained between matches.

But while the wives and girlfriends of the football stars will lap up the luxury of the swanky ship - complete with its very own shopping mall, roller disco rink and a range of clubs for children - it's said that players won't be allowed on board as they are set to form their own strict Covid bubble at the Souq Al Wakra hotel in Doha.

This had to be done once you heard how strict the rules were going to be. You can't watch soccer sober, that's madness. The only reasonable response was to acquire a floating palace to call home while the men brave the scorching temperatures. The soccer players themselves are not allowed on the ship by the way, because their coach doesn't want anyone getting covid and fucking over their chances.

So along with the go ahead to be a real human being, what else does the magic ship have to offer?

Oh just 30 bars and restaurants, 14 jacuzzis, six swimming pools, a movie theater, a jazz speakeasy, a casino, a spa snow room, the world's tallest slide on any ship, crystal staircases, basketball courts, bumper cars and a roller disco rink. Normally I'd say being stuck on a cruise for any more than 5 days is a nightmare, but I think this would be an exception, especially with the company of these women. Wouldn't hate to see a White Lotus Season 3 where it's all about the crew dealing with this group.

Credit to me, that involved the most research I've done since college. Probably missed a few, but you get the idea —being a good soccer player has its perks.

Here's to hoping for a disappointedly brief, yet fun time for the ladies
