Stop Trying To Ruin Greatness - NCAA President Is Once Again Being An Idiot And Claiming 'There's Room To Go To 72 Or 76 Teams' In The NCAA Tournament

Here we go again. Can't even enjoy 1 week of the college basketball season before we get dumbass statements. Once again I'm here to tell you this is the dumbest possible idea that any NCAA president can have. We don't need to expand the NCAA Tournament to get more average ass teams in. You want to make the NCAA Tournament play better. It's that simple. Win your conference tournament. Don't lose a bunch of regular season games. Seems pretty simple!

The NCAA Tournament is the single best postseason in all of sports. I will die on that hill. You get matchups that don't make sense and outcomes that make even less sense. You have 4 regions of 16 teams. We don't count the play-in here. That never should be a thing. 64 teams is the ideal, perfect number for the NCAA Tournament. The schedule makes sense, everything about it makes sense. Except to expand it. That's the only thing that doesn't make sense.

You can't even argue 'oh you don't want more NCAA Tournament games?' No. We already have these play-in games, they are conference tournaments. We hear it all the time when there's like an 8vs9 game in the ACC or something. Loser eliminated. That's how it should be. I don't want some 10th place team from the ACC in the NCAA Tournament as the 75th team. No one wants that. I want the regular season to matter again and feel like it should matter more. I don't care how many times I have to blog this, I will die defending the NCAA Tournament.
