The World Cup Is Going Back To The Middle East Again. 2034 Is In Saudi Arabia

This was long rumored, but officially official today and I gotta say...I absolutely hate it. We just did the World Cup in the Middle East last time and with the exception of a journalist being (allegedly) murdered and the slave-built stadiums, it went off fine I suppose. Here is my big problem though...they'll have to turn the calendar upside down again to accommodate this tournament. The World Cup is meant to be played in the summer months when all of the major leagues are on break. Well the AVERAGE temperature in Saudi Arabia in July is a dry 109degrees. I wouldn't rule out Mohammed bin Salmon figuring out how to control the weather by 2034 with all the crazy shit they're doing in Saudi Arabia. Maybe that Linear City will have a few soccer stadiums in it.

I don't like shutting down the Premier League and every other major league in Europe for a month just because the Saudis lined FIFA's pockets with cold hard cash, but more importantly than that...I don't like futbol going head to head with football. The World Cup is the biggest soccer stage and arguably the biggest global event on the planet. America is the biggest sports market on the planet with the deepest pockets. And this isn't just about me and my country...it's about everyone besides those who are hosting. So figure out weather control so everything can be normal
