Scott McLaughlin Is A True American Because He Watches RedZone Every Sunday
Scott McLaughlin is a native Kiwi (from New Zealand) and a rookie in IndyCar. But he's not your typical hardass mate from down under that thinks American football is for pussies because of wearing helmets and pads.
In fact, it's quite the opposite for SMAC.
"I am a massive American football fan," Scott told me. "I've watched American football in Australia for years, and now to be here and have NFL RedZone...I love it, man. I'm a big fan."
Gotta love it. Sometimes talking with foreign guys they have a hard time understanding the game, or a difficult transition from the game they grew up loving in rugby, but both Scott and Jack Harvey (England) have raved to me about how they are absolutely all-in on the NFL.
Sounds to me like an IndyCar Fantasy league is in the works...only if I'm the commish.
