Shark Knight: One More Year

Not how I would have liked the season to end but this aint The Mighty Ducks. This is the real world. You’re not always gonna get a storybook ending….

Actually, now that I think about it, this ending was still storybook as fuck. I actually got a little choked up when the Chinese fans started that impromptu “Lets go Shaaarks” chant as Jimmer drove off into the sunset.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that “One More Year” chant will be enough to convince Jimmer to let go of his NBA aspirations but a little Birdie did tell me there’s a chance The Mormon Megaladon ends up back in The Tank next year. It’d be a smart move too. Making a million plus over a 3 month season ain’t a bad gig at all. Not to mention all the money he’s made doing commercials and endorsements due to Chinese brands EATING UP his squeaky clean image. Also, Shanghai has all the western amenities and comforts of any city in the US. It’s not some shit hole like Beijing (If the Chinese government is reading this please note I’m just trying to take a playful jab at the Beijing Ducks. Beijing is a wonderful city with extremely clean air and very little traffic . Don’t deport me.)

Well that about wraps up my Sharks coverage for the season but if I learned anything in my elementary school science class it’s that Sharks don’t sleep.
