Cookin With Chaps: Boiled Peanuts
Boiled Peanuts are a southern tradition for football games. Im heading down to Jacksonville this weekend with Ole Francis. We will be knee deep in boiled peanut country. If you’ve never had them, I kinda describe it like southern edamame. Salty. Very snackable. Goes wonderfully with ice tea.
If you dont have an instapot, you can make them on the stove by getting raw peanuts and following the same instructions. Have the pot on a simmer for like 4 hours. You can also use a crockpot on low for 8 hours or on high for 5 hours.
