The best way to hunt these critters is to walk slowly, whisper, & to scan the trees/ground constantly. Here and there you can often hear the nuts drop to the ground, which means there's a squirrel nearby. </p><p>Alex Peric & I bagged five squirrels this weekend & cooked them up! Honestly nothing beats fresh squirrel. We typically hunt these guys with a .22 or with our bows.</p><p>On this specific hunt we decided to go with .22 & tracers.
